Fellowships

The Academy of Sociology supports early-career researchers in their academic careers and funds research stays. The fellowships are intended to facilitate research exchange with other scholars abroad, in Germany, or in the fellow’s home country.
We subsidize travel and living expenses up to 2,000 EUR, depending on the duration of the stay. Membership in the Academy of Sociology is a prerequisite for applying for a fellowship.

We have been accepting applications since February 2023. You can find the current call for applications here. The board will review your application and notify you of its decision as soon as possible.
