Workshop Funding

We provide grants of up to 2,500 EUR per event for workshops or small conferences organized by Academy members. Preference will be given to proposals that align with the Academy’s goals, such as promoting good scientific practice, replication and reproducibility, open science, interdisciplinarity, equality, internationality, and the advancement of early-career researchers in analytical-empirical research. All members of the Academy of Sociology are eligible to apply, regardless of their academic status. In addition to the Academy member submitting the application, non-members are also welcome to be part of the organizing team for the conference or workshop.

Since July 2022, we have been accepting event submissions on an ongoing basis. The board will review your proposal and notify you of its decision as soon as possible. You can find the call for proposals here.
